307 RECONSTRUCTIONS

We may define a reconstruction as a re-telling of a particular segment of a history. There can be both internal and external reconstructions (from the point of view of the participant). One reflects an idealized picture of the development of logical problems via choices made by individuals; the other reflects the psychological, economic, social problems encountered in the world by those individuals (internal historical reconstruction and external reconstruction respectively).
