Do we ever raise experience as a referent except in cases where we need a certain nebulous sort of authority for a belief which we want (for some reason) to hold now? Experience seems to be a short-hand term for expressing a relationship between a person and a thing, an event, his memory of past actions, other's past actions, etc.
