123 EXPERIENCE

Some people employ the notion of 'experience' just because of the vagueness and ambiguity with which it can be used (Kozloff, Smithson). They say: We don't go about the world trying to fit conventions of belief and behavior to every situation we find ourselves in. We do take short-cuts and this we attribute to 'experience' --meaning past experience. It is somehow natural to act from experience.
