You must stick to a variety of projection systems ( in making a map of some territory ); otherwise you can't 'understand' the territory. In other words, the notion of temperature (qua generated by some conceptual framework) is not an intellectual fact about the universe, but a conceptual matter (i. e. , the product of that conceptual framework that gave the concept 'temperature' existence).
